Approved Draft of the National Programme for the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to EU Law

On 30 December 2025, the Interagency Working Group on Ensuring the Negotiation Process on Ukraine’s Accession to the European Union and on the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to EU Law, chaired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, T. A. Kachka, approved the draft National Programme for the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to the Law of the European Union (EU acquis).

The National Programme is a comprehensive strategic document that defines Ukraine’s systematic approach to fulfilling all obligations within the framework of the EU accession negotiation process and to harmonising national legislation with the law of the European Union.

The draft National Programme comprises more than 2,800 tasks aimed at implementing over 1,600 acts of European Union law, consolidated into a single document exceeding one thousand pages.

The next step is the consideration and approval of the National Programme by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in January of this year.
