Attention! As of 1 January 2026, national standards for crushed stone, gravel, and sand will be repealed

In accordance with paragraph 79 of the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 28 March 2025 No. 300-r “On Approval of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Recommendations of the European Commission Presented in the Ukraine Progress Report under the European Union Enlargement Package 2024,” the Law of Ukraine dated 9 April 2015 No. 317-VIII “On the Condemnation of the Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) Totalitarian Regimes in Ukraine and the Prohibition of Propaganda of Their Symbols,” the letter of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine dated 11 April 2025 No. 3411-09/30019-08 regarding the action plan for implementing the recommendations of the European Commission, and the Minutes dated 20 July 2025 No. 1 of the meeting of the joint working group comprising representatives of the national standardization body, technical committees, and collective members of technical standardization committees on the repeal of all national standards that contradict the provisions of European standards adopted as national standards, the validity of many national standards will be repealed as of 1 January 2026, including:

– DSTU B V.2.7-32-95 “Dense natural sand for construction materials, products, structures, and works. Technical specifications”;

– DSTU B V.2.7-71-98 (GOST 8269.0-97) “Crushed stone and gravel from dense rocks and industrial waste for construction works. Physical and mechanical test methods”;

– DSTU B V.2.7-72-98 (GOST 8269.1-97) “Crushed stone and gravel from dense rocks and industrial waste for construction works. Chemical analysis methods”;

– DSTU B V.2.7-75-98 “Dense natural crushed stone and gravel for construction materials, products, structures, and works. Technical specifications”.

The full list of national standards repealed as of 1 January 2026 is set out in Order of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality” (SE “UkrNDNC”) dated 29 August 2025 No. 234 “On the Repeal of National Standards.”

Pursuant to the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 26 November 2014 No. 1163-r, the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality” performs the functions of the national standardization body.

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On Standardization,” the powers of the national standardization body include, inter alia, “the adoption, repeal, and reinstatement of national standards, codes of established practice, and amendments thereto in accordance with this Law.”
