In the central executive bodies

● The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, by its Order No. 1681 dated December 18, 2024, approved the new composition of the Working Group on Subsoil Use and at the same time invalidated the Order of the Ministry No. 1354 dated October 28, 2024 “On Approval of the Composition of the Working Group on Subsoil Use”.

● The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has developed a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Criteria for Assessing the Degree of Risk from Conducting Economic Activities in the Field of Geological Exploration and Rational Use of Subsoil and Determining the Frequency of Scheduled State Supervision (Control) by the State Service of Geology and Subsoil”, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 913 dated October 31, 2018.

The draft resolution provides, in particular, for the regulation of the frequency of planned measures of state supervision (control) by the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine regarding new types of subsoil use established by Article 14 of the Subsoil Code of Ukraine (as amended by the Law of Ukraine of December 01, 2022 No. 2805-IX “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving Legislation in the Field of Subsoil Use”), and also stipulates that if a business entity operates within the Ros River Basin (paragraph 40 of the Action Plan for
