In the central legislative and executive bodies

● Members of the Parliament of Ukraine H.M. Tretyakova, P.V. Frolov, S.A. Velmoznyi (25 people in total) developed the Draft Law of Ukraine “On Corporate Labor Disputes” (Reg. No. 12034 of September 16, 2024).

The purpose of this draft law is to introduce effective legal and organizational frameworks for regulating the procedure and methods of resolving collective labor disputes in Ukraine, introduce a modern mechanism for resolving such disputes through conciliation procedures and labor arbitration, develop the institution of labor mediation, exercise the right of employees and employers to collective action in cases of conflicts of interest, improve the procedure and procedure for holding strikes, balance the institution of responsibility and interests of employees and employers.

● MPs of Ukraine O.I. Kovalev, A.K. Slavytska, V.V. Moroz (7 people in total) developed the Draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Fundamentals of Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities in Ukraine’ to clarify the procedure for bringing business entities to liability for violation of the requirements of the legislation on the implementation of the standard of jobs intended for the employment of persons with disabilities, including by offsetting it” (reg. No. 12046 of September 20, 2024).

The Association reminds that according to part I of Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Fundamentals of Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities in Ukraine”, the standard of jobs for the employment of persons with disabilities is set for enterprises, institutions, organizations in the amount of 4 percent of the average number of full-time employees on the payroll for the year, and if there are 8 to 25 employees, in the amount of one job.

● Pursuant to the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 878-r dated September 13, 2024, Oleksandr Kamyshin was elected as a member of the Supervisory Board of Joint Stock Company “Ukrainian Railways” as a state representative.

This order comes into force on September 26, 2024.

The Association reminds that from August 11 to March 2022, Mr. Kamyshin was the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”. After the Russian invasion to Ukraine, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of the company on a permanent basis on April 1, 2022.

On February 27, 2023, he resigned as Chairman of the Board, announcing his plans to head the European Integration Office of Ukrzaliznytsia in Europe.

On March 3, 2023, he was appointed Advisor to the President of Ukraine (out of state).

On March 21, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Kamyshyn as Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

On March 24, 2023, the President of Ukraine dismissed O.M. Kamyshyn from the position of his non-staff advisor. On September 4, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed O.M. Kamyshyn from the post of Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine upon his resignation.
