The Association reminds that the “quiet season” in Ukraine begins on April 1

In Ukraine, the so-called “quiet season” is commencing — an annual period during which, in order to protect wildlife breeding in natural habitats, the performance of works and activities that generate increased noise is prohibited from April 1 to June 15.

Such works and activities, as listed in Article 39 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Animal World”, include blasting operations.

Penalties for non-compliance with these requirements are stipulated in Article 87 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
