The Deregulation of Business Activity Continues
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved draft laws aimed at further advancing the deregulation of business activity. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on May 21, 2025.
According to him, the first draft law proposes the elimination of 63 permits and approvals across various sectors, including healthcare, environmental protection, water and forestry management, agriculture, energy, foreign economic activity, education, and culture.
The second draft law introduces amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, abolishing liability for the absence of permits that are to be revoked under the first draft law.
Prime Minister Shmyhal emphasized that, to date, the Government has already repealed more than 1,900 regulatory acts across different sectors.
