The State Geologic and Subsoil Survey of Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, by its Resolution No. 1181-r dated November 29, 2024, appointed Oleh Stepanovych Hotsynets as the Head of the State Geologic and Subsoil Survey of Ukraine from the date of commencement of his actual performance of official duties for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of termination or lifting of martial law with remuneration in accordance with the law, establishing a probationary period of one month.

Mr. Gotsynets worked as the Head of the Subsoil Use Department of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, the largest subsoil user in Ukraine, which has hundreds of special permits for oil and natural gas production.

Mr. Gotsynets also worked as a project manager at Naftogaz of Ukraine. He is also an expert of the State Commission of Ukraine for Mineral Resources.
