The President also submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the Draft Law &#8220;On the Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine &#8216;On the Extension of Martial Law in Ukraine'&#8221; (Registration No. 15401 of 13 July 2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its plenary session on 14 July 2026, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft law in its entirety. The voting results were: 313 votes in favour, 2 against, 0 abstentions, and 21 members did not vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Association reminds that martial law in Ukraine was initially introduced by Presidential Decree No. 64\/2022 of 24 February 2022 for a period of 30 days and has since been extended 19 times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its plenary session on 14 July 2026, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft law in its entirety.
