Export and Import of Crushed Stone Products in the First Eight Months of 2025

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on foreign trade in specific types of goods by country, the export and import volumes of pebbles, gravel, crushed or broken stone – typically used as aggregate for concrete or as ballast for road and railway construction, as well as other types of ballast, including heat-treated or untreated flint and pebble stone (Ukrainian Commodity Code 2517100000) – for the period January–August 2025 were as follows:

• Exports (to 10 countries) totaled 855.309 thousand tonnes, including:
  • to Poland – 612.723 thousand tonnes
  • to Moldova – 241.883 thousand tonnes
  • to Lithuania – 0.377 thousand tonnes
• Imports (from 12 countries) totaled 44.756 thousand tonnes, including:
  • from Turkey – 32.713 thousand tonnes
  • from Poland – 6.203 thousand tonnes
  • from Slovakia – 3.205 thousand tonnes
  • from Romania – 2.001 thousand tonnes.
