Association’s Proposal Not Accepted

Based on the letter of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine dated January 23, 2026 No. 3411-09/7541-08 (see the information in the “News” section dated January 26, 2026), the Association submitted to the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality Problems” (SE “UkrNDNC”) its nominees to participate in a working group established to consider postponing the date of cancellation of national standards applied in the security and defense sector in the areas of railway engineering, light industry, and road construction, as well as national standards that have not been adopted on the basis of European standards regarding requirements for crushed stone.

In its letter dated March 6, 2026 No. 2-10/3.1-354, SE “UkrNDNC” informed that by Order No. 24 of February 27, 2026 a working group “Highways and Transport Structures” was established to address the issue of postponing the cancellation date of national standards applied during the construction, repair, and maintenance of public highways.

The established working group “Highways and Transport Structures” consists of 10 members representing:

• – the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine – 4 representatives;
• – the State Enterprise “National Institute for Infrastructure Development” – 3 representatives;
• – the State Enterprise “State Research Institute of Building Structures” – 1 representative;
• – the National Association of Road Builders of Ukraine – 2 representatives.
