Expert Discussion on Railway Freight Tariffs for 2025–2026

As previously reported (see “News” section, 20 August 2025), on 10 September this year, the expert discussion “Railway Freight Tariffs for 2025–2026” was held, organized by the Center for Transport Strategies (CTS).

The purpose of the discussion was to promote a transparent and professional dialogue between representatives of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia and market participants in order to enhance the predictability of tariff (pricing) policy and build effective partnership relations with clients.

The discussion was attended by:

• Members of the Parliament of Ukraine – M.S. Mahomedov (Chairman of the Subcommittee on Industrial Policy of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development) and Yu.L. Sirko (First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure);
• A.V. Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture;
• O.S. Kava, Deputy Minister of Finance;
• V.A. Tkachov, Deputy Director of the Commercial Operations Department of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia;
• R.V. Illichov, Director General of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine;
• V.H. Husak, Director General of the Federation of Transport Employers of Ukraine;
• O.F. Kalenkov, President of the Association of Enterprises “Ukrmetallurgprom”;
• O.M. Khomenko, Director General of the “Ukrainian Agribusiness Club” Association;
• Mauro Longobardo, CEO of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih;
• V. Kotenko, Head of Rolling Stock Supply Department at Kernel-Trade LLC;
  as well as other representatives of business and industry.

The event was held in an online format with a live broadcast on the CTS YouTube channel.
