How many companies are operating in Ukraine?

The State Statistics Service of Ukraine has published on its website information on the number of operating enterprises by type of economic activity by region for 2014-2022.

The information is based on National Classifier of Economic Activities (NACE) 2010 codes (КВЕД-2010).

For example, in 2022, there were a total of 261,924 enterprises in Ukraine, including 757 enterprises engaged in the extraction of stone, sand and clay (code 08.1), of which 357 enterprises engaged in the extraction of decorative and building stone, limestone, gypsum, chalk and clay shale (code 08.11).
