Statement by the Federation of Transport Employers of Ukraine (FRTU)Ukrzaliznytsia preparing a two-stage increase in freight transportation tariffs

On October 20, 2025, the All-Ukrainian Association of Transport Employers’ Organizations — Federation of Transport Employers of Ukraine (FRTU) — issued a statement regarding JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia’s” plans to raise rail freight tariffs by 27% in 2025 and by an additional 11% starting January 1, 2026.

This decision has already been approved by the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”. The relevant draft order is expected to be submitted shortly to the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine for approval.
