Verkhovna Rada Extends Duration of Martial Law in Ukraine

At its plenary session on October 21, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in full the draft Law “On Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine ‘On Extension of the Duration of Martial Law in Ukraine’” (registration No. 14128 of October 20, 2025).

Under this law, the Presidential Decree of October 20, 2025, No. 793/2025, titled “On Extension of the Duration of Martial Law in Ukraine,” was approved.
According to the decree, the period of martial law in Ukraine is extended for 90 days starting from November 5, 2025.
