The National Program for the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to EU Law Approved

By Resolution No. 438 dated April 1, 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the National Program for the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to the law of the European Union (EU acquis).

The National Program consists of 6 clusters, grouped into 31 chapters, and comprises 1,091 pages.

For example, under the “Transport” chapter, the Program defines 134 objectives, 129 of which предусматривают the implementation of 246 EU legal acts. Under the “Environment and Climate Change” chapter, 69 objectives are defined, 68 of which предусматривают the partial and full implementation of 190 EU legal acts.
