The State Environmental Inspectorate Seeks to Resume Scheduled and Unscheduled State Supervision (Control) Activities

The State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine (SEI) has developed a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine titled “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 303 dated March 13, 2022.” The purpose of the draft is to reinstate scheduled and unscheduled state supervision (control) measures in the field of environmental protection, rational use, reproduction, and conservation of natural resources, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Basic Principles of State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity.” These measures would apply to areas of Ukraine where active hostilities are not taking place, without requiring prior approval from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
