The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has commenced the work of the 15th Session of the 9th Convocation.

On 3 February 2026, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine commenced the work of the 15th Session of the 9th Convocation, which will continue until September 2026.

On the same day, at its plenary sitting, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine:

1. Rejected and removed from consideration the draft resolution submitted by People’s Deputy of Ukraine R.O. Stefanchuk, “On the Plan of Legislative Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for 2026” (Reg. No. 14415 of 2 February 2026).

During the vote on this draft resolution, the Members of Parliament voted as follows:
“For” – 167; “Against” – 0; “Abstained” – 31; “Did not vote” – 69.

2. Rejected and removed from consideration the draft resolution submitted by People’s Deputy of Ukraine R.O. Stefanchuk, “On the Agenda of the Fifteenth Session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Ninth Convocation” (Reg. No. 14416 of 2 February 2026).

During the vote on this draft resolution, the Members of Parliament voted as follows:
“For” – 136; “Against” – 0; “Abstained” – 30; “Did not vote” – 93.

The Association recalls that, pursuant to Article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine, regular sessions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine commence on the first Tuesday of February and the first Tuesday of September each year.
