Conference “Crushed Stone Industry + Road Club” Held in Kyiv

n October 23, 2025, the conference “Crushed Stone Industry + Road Club” took place in Kyiv, focusing on pressing issues faced by crushed stone enterprises in the extraction, processing, transportation, and application of mineral resources and finished products.

The event was organized by “FPR-Events”, a company with many years of experience hosting conferences across various industrial sectors.

The conference brought together executives and representatives of crushed stone enterprises, industry associations (including the Association of Nonmetallic Building Materials Producers of Ukraine, represented by its Director General V. K. Netskyi), as well as manufacturers and suppliers of construction and quarry equipment, materials, and spare parts, rail transport enterprises, financial institutions, and the NADRA.Info information agency, among others.
Some participants from individual quarrying companies joined the event online.

The conference program was structured around four thematic sections:

1. Economic Outlook and Ukraine’s Recovery
2. Granite Extraction and Crushed Stone Production
3. Construction and Quarry Equipment Market
4. Finding Financing and Workforce

After each session, participants engaged in panel discussions addressing sector-specific issues.

The Director General of the Association participated in the discussion following the first session, responding to questions from the moderator regarding:

• Relations between industry associations and government authorities;
• The new taxation rule on rent payments for subsoil use, based on the actual sale price of extracted mineral resources (classified under Commodity Code 2517 of the Ukrainian Classification of Foreign Economic Activity);
• Outlooks for the crushed stone industry’s development.

It is worth noting, however, that fewer companies directly engaged in mineral extraction for crushed stone production participated in this year’s conference compared to previous ones.
